Juvéderm Ultra XC

Juvederm Ultra XC is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to add volume where you need it most. The filler features Juvederm’s Hylacross technology which produces a smooth and flexible gel so your results are very natural-looking. The XC version is formulated with larger molecules to create a thicker and more stable gel. Specifically made to correct significant cosmetic issues which can be injected deeper into the dermis than the standard Juvederm Ultra injections. XC can be used to target deep nasolabial folds and loss of facial volume. It can be used to contour the face and enhance the lips; and the thicker formula allows it to lasts longer.

Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC

Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is hyaluronic acid fillers designed to add volume where you need it most. They features Juvederm’s Hylacross technology which produces a smooth and flexible gel so your results are very natural-looking. It can be used to contour the face and enhance the lips; and the thicker formula allows it to lasts longer.

Juvederm Voluma

Juvederm’s Voluma formula also uses hyaluronic acid, but the voluma version is designed specifically to add volume to the cheek area. The formula is injected directly above the bone in your cheeks, the results from Voluma can last up to 2 years.

What is the Hyaluronic Acid Found in Juvéderm®?

Hyaluronic acid is something that is naturally occuring in your body. The chemical compound found in fillers like Juvéderm Voluma® XC is already present throughout your body. It works to keep various parts functioning properly, whether that’s through lubricating joints or moisturizing your skin.

As we age the amount of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in your bodies can diminish. The reduced production can contribute to the formation of wrinkles and hollows which can make you look older.

Juvéderm Voluma® XC and similar products can introduce hyaluronic acid back into the places on your face where you need it most, filling in wrinkles and rounding out regions that have sunken in.

Are Juvéderm® results permanent?

No. Unlike various lifts and surgical options, dermal fillers like Juvéderm® are temporary solutions. Depending on brand and location, the benefits will usually last anywhere from months to years. Over that time, your body will slowly and safely reabsorb the hyaluronic acid (again, it’s a naturally occurring substance in your body).

What can Filler injections be used to treat?

Juvéderm® can be injected in many areas where you need more volume. Juvéderm® Ultra is designed to address smile lines (also known as parenthesis), corner lines, marionette lines, and vertical lip lines.  Facial fillers may be applied to hollows at the temples or under the eyes, and even to correct droopy eyebrows. How long do BOTOX treatment results last?

BOTOX injections are also a temporary treatment. The visible effects last longer in some people than in others, but most people can expect the results of their treatments to last for three to six months.
